Beer Mustard Bread


This is a subtly flavored, finely-textured bread.  The first quantity listed makes a 1 lb. loaf; the quantity in parentheses is for a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.

Flat beer – 3/4 c. (1 1/4 c.)
Powdered milk – 2 tbsp. (3 tbsp.)
Olive oil – 1 tbsp. (1 1/2 tbsp.)
Sugar – 1 tbsp. (1 1/2 tbsp.)
Dijon mustard – 2 tbsp. (3 tbsp.)
Dried thyme – 1/2 tsp. (3/4 tsp.)
Salt – 1 tsp. (3/4 tsp.)
Bread flour – 2 c. (3 c.)
Yeast – 1 1/2 tsp. (2 1/4 tsp.)

Place all ingredients into bread machine in order listed.  Set machine for white bread, medium crust.
