Egg Bread


This bread has a rich flavor and texture.  The first quantity listed makes a 1 lb. loaf; the quantity in parentheses makes a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.

1 egg (1 egg + 1 yolk)
1/2 c. milk (3/4 c.)
1tbsp. butter (1 1/2 tbsp.)
2 tbsp. sugar (3 tbsp.)
1 tsp salt (1 1/2 tsp.)
2 c. bread flour (3 c.)
1 1/2 tsp. yeast (2 1/4 tsp.)

Put ingredients into bread pan in order listed.  Set bread machine for white bread, medium crust.
