Cinnamon Raisin Bread


The first quantity listed makes a 1 lb. loaf; the quantity in parentheses makes a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.

1/2 c. water (3/4 c.)
1/4 c. milk (6 tbsp.)
2 tbsp. butter (3 tbsp.)
3 tbsp. brown sugar (4 1/2 tbsp.)
1/2 tsp. salt (3/4 tsp.)
2 tsp. cinnamon (1 tbsp.)
1 1/2 c. bread flour (2 1/4 c.)
1/2 c. whole wheat flour (3/4 c.)
2 tsp. yeast (1 tbsp.)
1/3 c. raisins (1/2 c.)

Put all ingredients except raisins into bread pan in order listed.  Set bread machine for whole-wheat bread, medium crust.  Add raisins after first kneading, or when the machine signals to add fruit.
