Alfredo Sauce


This is from a low-carb cookbook – might be low carb, but still high in fat!

3 tbsp. butter
1 ½ c. heavy whipping cream
½ c. Parmesan cheese, shredded or grated
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. fresh minced garlic

Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat.  Add cream and stir.  Add cheese and salt, stir and heat through; do not boil.  Serve immediately.
